Really good for an hour and hats off to you on the charcoal front!

Thanks Heather - I used pastelmat to create the image on, probably not the best surface in hindsight as it wasn't very malleable but it's all about the learning isn't it! That's why I am doing a Fine Arts (Hons) degree starting next Monday at my local university! Still can't quite believe I got accepted! (the oldest student on the block!)

I really like it - it's way better than a practice piece. I love using charcoal and pastels of all kinds, and I would be very proud if I'd done something this good!

A practice with charcoal (and a bit of pastel) in last night's Artsocial zoom class - not my favourite medium! it's Soooooo messy! But it was an interesting lesson, and I am tempted to have another go with acrylics next time! This study was a quick hour's work.
